Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
franchises
I own a franchise with a very weak franchise agreement. Some of the other franchisees are demanding changes (through lawyers) or they will possibly leave and go independant or start another franchise. If they choose to leave, it would go from about 30 locations to 5-6. Do I have any recourse against those whom are pursuing this action if in the end it affects my business and my own well being. This would bring about a weaker brand and increased costs due to lack of volume.

Re: franchises
It depends on the language of the franchise agreement. You will need an attorney to review it, then answer your questions. You may have a cause of action against the franchisor
