Internet business licensing
Are there laws requiring internet businesses to register
within any given state? What licensing requirements
are there?

You should be "registered" where ever your main office from which you conduct business is located. If you work from your home you should obtain a business license from your town (or caounty if unincorporated.) You may also want to consider forming a formal business organization such as a limited liability company, corporation or other entity. These entities can provide financial and liability protection for personal assets as well as provide a good and professional framework to 'grow' a business.
