Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
A lease agreement was signed by a customer that they could not purchase other paper products to go into the dispensers that were provided for them. The supplier did not have the paper product needed to go into the dispenser and the customer went else where to purchase the towels. The supplier is saying that they will be billing the customer the cost of the dispensers because of this.
Is a lease agreement on a Towel dispenser really a binding contract, can the suppler do anything to the consumer? or are they just puffing smoke?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Any attorney will say a review of the entire agreement is necessary before the question can be answered. If the agreement does not address this issue, then any actions taken by both sides must be reasonable. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
