Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
I lost my business when nafta came around can I sue for that.

You can sue, but you can't win. The federal government has the right enter treaties like NAFTA and is not required to compensate people whose business suffers as a result. Besides, because of the constitutional separation of powers, courts have no authority to tell the president or Congress which treaties they can make and which they can't, or to penalize them for the ones they enter into.
