Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
Notice of suit/ Demand letter
If I am going to sue a firm in small claims court for breach of contract, is it a good idea to first send them a demand letter to try to resolve the issue without going to court? Should the letter be adressed to the business agent or to the person who was handling my account/contract? How should the letter be structured?
Thank you.

Re: Notice of suit/ Demand letter
It is always a good idea to try to settle without the need to go to court. Make a demand and send copies to the business owner and anyone else who may have the ability to settle the case.
