Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
Par value vs. value
I am wondering if there is any significant consequence or importance if instead of a stock certificate indicating a par value, it states just ''value'' and the amount? I need to know because I know someone that works at a certificate printing company that has made some certificates without the word par on them, only value and the amount. Please let me know if this is of any importance that would need correction.

Re: Par value vs. value
Reprint them. Par value means a nominal value which does not reflect the true value. Value could be interpreted to mean the actual or true value.
