Return Policies
I want to send a piece of furniture back,
and the receipt said nothing about not
being able to? Are they allowed to tell
me I can't?

Generally once you leave the store with a product, there is no obligation for the store to take it back. Of course in an attempt to keep customers happy, most will make reasonable efforts to satisfy their customers.
