Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
How many times can you resell your business
If a person owns a business, which is a saloon, in one spot for years and sells it and all that goes with it for the fourth time now and each sale was defalted, and returned to the original owner, but now the former owner took all that went with the saloon and the origional owner can not reopen the business and does not, and never did own the building,or does not have an agreement to rent the building, and is in very poor health now. Can I step into the building and rent it and open my own saloon without the origional saloon owner being involved? Or would I have to still purchase it from them.

Re: How many times can you resell your business
You will need to find out who owns the saloon, contact atitlecompany or the county recorder to be certain. Check with the Utah Dept Business to see if there are any liens against any of the remaining equipment.
