Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah

? On civil pursuit

I had a friend who helped me and wanted to help me with money and bought me some things and there has never been a promise to pay back or anything. now is mad and says he is going to take me to court civily. Can that be done? I have letters saying he just wanted to help and I don't owe anything back. But is threatening me suddenly and sent me a bill? what can I do? Also, this person is harassing me over the phone and calling me names, thats very wrong and I didn't do anything.

Re: ? On civil pursuit

Apparently your friend thinks that there was a promise to repay. When he sues you you can tell the judge that you are entitled to the money and things because..... well you will think of something.

Maybe your friend now needs some help and you should consider being a friend yourself.
