Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah

When i was hand cuffed i said to the officer ''i want to call my attorney.''He said to me '' you don't deserve an attorney.''Then i asked to see the search warrant for my house and i was told when were done you can see it.I never did get to see it until i came home from jail the next day.Were my civil rights violated?

You are entitled to call your attorney upon your request, however, the officer can wait until you get to jail before allowing that call, but may not interrogate you further after you request an attorney. You are also entitled to see the warrant at the time of the search.
