Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah
communication with the x.
we have an x that keeps on taunting, threatening us and trying to find fault at every oppertunity. Is there a way to get a restraining order so he is no longer able to corresponding with us except for pick up and drop off of the kids and nothing else? To what degree are we forced to communicate with the x when children are involved? Can it be just pick up and drop off of the kids? What options might we have?

Re: communication with the x.
You do not need to talk to the ex except as directly concerns the children. You can ignore his attempts to upset you. You can also limit contact to email or text messages.
