Is it legal for a minor to be questioned by an officer without a parent present
Is it legal for a minor child to be called in and questioned by an officer without a parent or any form of legal councel present

It depends on the circumstances, but generally if the child is old enough to be reasonably able to accurately recite events and understands the difference between truth and fiction - yes the child can be interviewed outside the presence of the parent.
