Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah
Malice?
I recently accepted a job offer and waited 2 weeks to start. After the 1st day it was all right, by the second day I felt demeaned and was crying I truly hated the position. the 3rd day I just wanted to go home it was aweful. So the 4th day I handed in my keys an apology letter and left. I recieved a phone call from the CEO stating how he had to call and tell me how unprofessional I am and unethical and that I wasted his staff's time for 3 days, and that I didn't have the nerve to talk with them I just left the resignation letter and ran. And how he liked the part about my pay for the wasted time I spent there and the lie I said on 3rd day, and he would so get on it to getting me paid. Then 15min later I recieve another call from the office stating that they couldn't find a password and if I didnt call back immediately they would have to call the police to take care of the matter. Then I receive an email reply saying that they were sorry found the password but the CEO was in an uproar when he couldn't find the password. not only was the CEO rude he was scary there was no way I was talking to him that's why I left the letter. I can't even listen to the voicemail he had left on my phone it's unnerving.

Get on with your life, and do not have contact with the business anymore - do not list this on your resume.
