''Minors in the paper without parents permision''

The Utah paper did a story that was untrue about my family because of my father. My mother has custidy of us not my father. The newspaper put photos of us and letters my brother and I had written in the paper with out asking my mother or I first.We are all minors,(can they do that). Or can we go after them .

There are two kinds of custody. One is legal: when parents divorce they usually both still retain legal custody. The other is residential custody, meaning that you spend most of the time with your mother. If your father still has legal custody he could have given the paper permission to publish the materials, without your mother or your permission.
