Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah

moving...

we would like to move to another state to find better job oppertunities there. My wife has temperary full custody of the children. Can we actually be ordered to stay in the state though, or is there just long distance arrangements made for visitation once we do? Will he get full custody if we move? Or do we have to pay for the visitation?

You may move, the spouse must give 90 days written notice. The moving party is required to pay the costs of visitation, absent another order of the court. Long distance visitation is provided here: UCA 30-30-37.
