Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah

Neighbor disput

My wife and I live in a condo development on a city street (outer edge of the development). We have had a problem with the neighbor insisting on parking their vehicle in front of our house. We asked them very politely several years ago to not park in front of our house. They have parking spots in front of their house, their driveway, and their garage, but insist on parking in front of our house. We have had other confrontations with their relatives, etc. - their daughter calling my wife a ''bitch'' at one point and saying they could park anywhere they wanted. Question: Can we get a restraining order and how difficult would it be???

Re: Neighbor disput

IF they are parking on a public street there is nothing that you can do - it is a public street. If on a private street, bring it to the attention of the HOA and ask them to take action and notify the police. They can also post the area as restricted parking.
