Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah
private policy
I recently stayed in a hotel in Nevada, the receptionist said that a police officer called to get my reservation info. because they were doing an investigation on my husband, they did not send a letter head or a subpoena or anything verifying that they were actually police officers, and the hotel faxed my info. I feel completely violated, and I might not find out for years that my info. is out there for all to do as they please, is there anything I can do.
