Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Utah
A repo that now haunts us almost 5 years later.
About a month ago we received a summons from Collins Financial Services stating that the repoed truck we voluntarily gave up almost 5 years ago was going to go to court if we did not respond within 10 business days. We did respond within the time frame given and just today we received another letter by mail saying that the letter will now be entered as exhibit A, because we the defendant did not raise any defense which would assuming all allegations in the Answer to be true, overcome Plaintiff's complaint. Then it goes on to say in capital, bold letters that failure to respond to this motion may result in a contempt citation or entry of judgment against you. What does this mean, what do we need to do??

You need to take all of the documents to an attorney.
