contractor failed to complete and won't return calls
we started a remodel project 5 1/2 months ago. we have had a terrible time with the company. the contract said 8-12 weeks. now they won't return calls and no one has shown up for a month. at what point can i terminate the contract without any fear of repercussion from the company? thank you

Re: contractor failed to complete and won't return calls
Send notice by mail that the contract is terminated by a certain date if the work is not finished. Hire another contractor to finish the work. Pay the 1st contractor the difference between the bid price and what you had to pay the 2nd contractor.
