Legal Question in Construction Law in Utah
Mechanic's Lien
I was just served papers for a mechanic's lien on a home that was built by a contractor. The papers came from a sub and their allegations are not true. What should I do? I never entered an agreement with the sub. I agree some of their claimed amount should be paid but not the entire amount. Will it go on my credit?

Re: Mechanic's Lien
We would need to research this lien to find out if it is properly filed. Our flat fee for this will be $350.00.
