Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
I went to a bank to cash my payroll check and got some information from the teller about opening an account. I told the teller I would come back at a later date after I decided whether I wanted the account or not. A few days later I received a letter in the mail thanking me for opening an account with them. I never agreed to this account and never signed any documents. Isn't this illegal?

Contact the bank to verify whether the account was actually opened - or what happened.
