Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah

Breach of contract

I entered an agreement with a company where I purchased some coaching sessions to teach me how to make money marketing online. Their end of the bargain was that they would help me build 50 websites and give me 50,000 banner impressions with guaranteed 1,000 hits. I had a few coaching sessions and then I never heard from the company again. I received zero banner impressions, they have helped me build zero websites. I feel they have not held up their end of the deal and therefore breached our contract. Am I correct? Can I take them to small claims court? Does it matter that I live in California and they are in Utah?

Re: Breach of contract

I assume you attempted to call and write them and you still have no response. The company should be given a chance to cure the problem. If they fail to attempt a solution, then you have the right to sue them for breach of contract. If they are located in Utah, it would be best to sue them in Utah, as it would be easier to collect your judgment (assuming you won.)
