Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
Cell Phone Billing
I called and canceled my cell phone service 2 months ago. I have not used it because I also switched carriers but they keep sending me bills saying they have no record of me canceling. What can I do?

Re: Cell Phone Billing
You will have to talk to a true supervisor. Note customer reps often hand off calls to a "supervisor" who sits next to the first agent. You need a bona fide supervisor. You will have to argue your case to the supervisor. It will help if you can prove you called, i.e. through a phone record. IF that does not work, demand copies of all of the call center's records on your account, and look for evidence of the date you transferred your number (if you did). You can also present evidence of the date of your new service. Ultimately, if the company refuses to cooperate, go to court.
