Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
Collect damages
Can I collect damages from U.S. Post Office? 2 month ago the Post Master of our small town told me where to position a curbside mail box in our new subdivision. I purchased the mail box and post for about $110.00 from Lowe's, and cemented the post in the correct place. I went to the post office to tell them they could now deliver our mail. I was told that a couple of weeks ago a new post master had been appointed. He said that they would not deliver to our new curb side box but would be installing a community type box which was done the next day. I have now lost my $110.00 and feel the post office would re-imburse me.
