Ethical Business Practice
When you special order an item it isn't what you expected or what you thought you ordered, should you have to pay for it?

It depends on (1) languange in your agreement with the seller; (2) whether the item was specially manufactured to your specifications or (3)whether it is an "off the shelf item." The agreement with the seller will generally prevail over any general conditions. If there is no agreement, then you will have to pay for items which are specially manufactured; if the item is off the shelf then you should be able to return it and get a credit or your money back. These are general terms and specific facts of your situation may affect the final legal conclusion.
