Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
Internet Contract for Membership
I paid for a lifetime membership to a singles web site. Now they tell me that if I don't log in at least every 60 days, my membership will revert to a guest-user status. That means I would have to give them more money for a membership; in effect, making my ''lifetime'' membership void. Please note, I have had this membership for probably three years, and now they're changing their policy about lifetime memberships.
Is this legal? By the way, they're no longer selling lifetime memberships. It looks as though it's a ploy to get more money and not to honor the lifetime memberships already sold.

Re: Internet Contract for Membership
Contact the site and explain you are a lifetime member, and ask if the new policy applies to you. If you have a copy of your lifetime agreement you can probably enforce the agreement in a court of law. The easy thing is to log in each 2 months.
