Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
Internet Investment Contracts
I am a day trader; I recently paid a large amount of money to an Internet based investment company, for training in the foreign currency markets. the contract I accepted and signed, did not have a money back guarantee. I do not feel the company completely delivered what it has promised and I have lost more money trying to use their program then I did when I was on my own. Should I seek legal advice to try and get some of the money back that I paid or report them to the Better Business Bureau in their area?

Re: Internet Investment Contracts
You can pursue the remedies you suggested. In addition, you may want to contact the Securities and Exchange Commission; the seller may be in violation of some of the SEC rules.
A determination will need to be made whether the promises made by the seller are material, meaning whether, absent those promises, a reasonable person would make the purchase. You will also have to look at the disclaimers which accompanied your purchase.
I would need more information before determining whether or not you have legal claim.
