On Mon.I returned a used car bought on Sat. They say I can't return it. That I signed the contract. The salesman told us we had 3 days to return the car if not satisfied. I thought this was a Federal law. Help me.

Re: Return a used car in 3 days

There is a law which requires solicitors who come to your home to sell you goods to give you a three day right of rescision. If you go to a car dealer, when you sign a contract you have a deal. However, if the salesman told you that you had three days, you can try to convince him to cancel the deal. But chances are that the salesman will not "remember" telling you that. Your only recourse would be to try to convince a judge. If the sales amount of the car is $5000 or less, then you can go to small claims court. Ask the court to rescind the contract. To be honest, your chances are not good.
