seller of car has not given us the title
Bought a car in Aug 2006 and paid cash, to friends of seller. He went to Alaska to help Grandmother, We have called and called Grandmother and she does try to help us in getting the title to this car with no avail. Owner now has a phone of own and we have number I have left messages but he does not return them. We cannot drive this car without a title. Can we Sue him for the time we have had the car and not been able to drive it due to the Title not in our names to register?

Yes, and you can sue for rescission of the sale (return your money, you give back the car). It is also a crime to not deliver title.
