Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
I signed a contract with a fencing company that I want to cancel.I signed the contract on the 14th the work was supposed to be done on the 16th,I already payed for half the amount due for the work to be done I contacted the company and they told me I could not cancel and that they did not have time to deal with me.Can I cancel this contract and get my money back?

It depends on the terms in the contract you signed, and whether the company came to your house. If they came to your house soliciting you for the fence, there may be a 3 day right to rescind the contract.
