Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah
Tennant's rights
I rent a room in a house; two of the other three rooms are also rented out. My lease says management can't enter to show the empty room in the house without 24 hours written notice; however, an addition to the lease (which the original provides for- it says they can add ''house rules'' at any time. Yes, stupid me.) says ''consider this your 24 hours written notice for any time we want to show the room.
Is this legal? My friend said he thought it might be against federal law.

Re: Tennant's rights
The landlord needs to give 24 hours notice for each showing.
