Legal Question in Consumer Law in Utah

wrongful billing

Greetings,

I feel I am being wrongfully billed. I recently cancelled my cell phone service with T-Mobile. I did not recieve a bill for the last month.

On the next billing cycle, they had the previous month's usage fees plus a late fee for the bill I never recieved from the previous cycle.

Now they are going to turn this over to a collection agency and report me to the credit bureau. This is $23 I am talking about. Any advice as to hoe to handle this? Thanks.

Re: wrongful billing

A. Pay the bill if the amounts are correct.

B. Dispute the bill and see what resolution steps are available. Talk to a real supervisor (there are a lot of phony supervisors)

C. If/when it goes to collections, dispute the bill in writing.

D. Go to court.
