I have borrowed some money to my friend?

i lent $4000 to a friend and by word of mouth they would of paid in me in full by mar 07 but they have not i do recieve monthly payments of 100 dollars. but i have advised they must pay me off several times can i still sue them for the balance in full

Sue them in small claims court for the amount you are still owed. Don't forget to calculate interest due.
