Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah

My divorce decree states that the medical expenses for my son are to be split 50/50. I sent my ex a bill for reimbursement of $2000.00. If he sends me $10.00/month, if I don't accept this and not cash the checks, can I garnish his check and issue a judgement on his credit report? $10.00/month is not enough, keeping in mind the expenses are going up due to medical treatment/expenses will go up from this to around $8,000 in the next 2 months.

Generally the noncustodial parent must pay within 30 days. If he refuses, you can take him back to court to ask for sanctions to enforce the decree. You may call for a free consultation.
