Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah
My former employer is trying to collect money using a collection agency for uniforms they claim were not returned to them when I quit. These uniforms were returned and I have a family member as a witness that they were returned. How do I proceed? Can they ruin my credit? Can they garnish wages?

Provide the employer and the collection agency a statement from the witness. IF they do not cease collection, file a suit in small claims court for harassment.
