Harrassment
We had a payment deferred to the end of contract on our vehicle in March,so we could afford to move for a job change.Since then we have been harressed every month for remainder of payment.I have told them several times that the payment has been deferred and we paid interest on it.They always say ''we'll have to get that taken care of''meanwhile I know this is showing bad on our credit report,plus they are giving me an enormous headache. I'm ready to have them to come get the car and forget everything,except I'm thinking of filing for harressment charges on the company.Do you think I'm waisting my time? I do have statements for proof of harressment,as well as witnesses.I know I don't want the vehicle if I have to put up with this harressment from them. I hope that someone can tell me what grounds I may or may not have.The company we bought our vehicle from also stated that our oil changes would be done for free for so many miles after purchase,but since we've moved they now say that only where we bought it that the changes will be done for free. This is a nationwide company,they have office's all over.But obviously thet don't honor one anothers contract.It makes no sense thet're all corporate. Thank-you in advance.Sincerely,Mrs.Price

Get something in writing from the person who allowed you to defer a payment and have that available for the "harrassers." If it is a collection company calling then ask them for written verification of your debt and follow up with a letter requesting the written verification.
You cannot sue for harassment on a purchase contract unless the entity doing the harassment is a collection agency. Harassment is defined as more than one call per day; nasty, vulgar or other offensive language, calling after 8 PM or before 8 AM etc.
Check the information regarding the oil changes and see if there is language in the agreement giving you the oil changes that they are available only at one location.
