Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah

My lawn service has not billed me for services from April to Oct 2010. We called several times asking for the bill and he just said he is horrible with bookkeeping and he will get it to us. To date we have not received a bill. How long does he have to send out a bill before I can quit holding the money? I'm worried he is going to add interest or say we didn't pay and take us to court.

If you know how much it is and you are worried you can always send him the money with a letter stating it is payment in full and your calculations. This way you would have a paper trail to protect your rights.
