I had a collections agency take out $1300 dollars out of my checking account on 10/06/05 that I did not authorize. I just want to know what options I have as far as if my bank can still stop payment on the transaction or what some other options might be?

The money could only be taked as a result of a garnishment without your approval. You have 30 days to contest the garnishment. You will need legal assistance to get your money back.
