Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah

Payment agreement

A credit card company made a payment agreement with me. When I called to make the first payment I was told they could not honor the agreement because the B of A rep should not have made the agreement. They are now taking me to court. Do they have to honor the agreement?

Re: Payment agreement

When you go to court explain the agreement to the judge and bring all information you have to support your agreement - including the dates of the calls and specifics about the agreement. Be prepared to offer the amount you agreed to pay, or the payments you agreed to make in court.
