Problems being paid as a seller on half.com
I have been a seller on the half.com web site for about 2 years. Last month they suspended me for reasons created by themselves, which I successfully appealed after 3 weeks of contacting them. I realize that they have the right to do as they wish in this regard.
However, just prior to my suspension, I made sales for which half.com was immediately paid. I shipped the items, but never recieved payment for them by the company. After my re-instatement by eBay (half.com is a subsidiary of ebay.com), I continued to sell more items. I was initially paid, but now am being told that was a mistake and any further items that I have sold since my last payment will also not be paid until they decide to review the situation 60 days from today. I was also then immediately suspended again without explanation - I can only assume because I dared to question why they would not pay me.
I feel that there must be some law which stops half.com and ebay picking and choosing who they pay for goods which have been sent in good faith - and for which that company has already received payment. The total owed to me would be small, but it is a lot of money to me. Do I have any claim and how would I go about it?

Half.com should have some "rules" posted or to which you may have agreed which regulates this situation - something similar to a sales agreement or sales contract. Otherwise you can sue them in small claims court for your damages. Your problem will be to collect the money - but if you have copies of other transactions you may be able to garnish their bank account.
