Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah
I recently had a judgment against me for an unpaid hospital bill. The debt collector has garnisheed my pay. Every 2 week's, I keep getting a form from my employer called *Garnishee's answer to interrogatories for continuing garnishment. Subsequent pay periods*. Is this form supposed to be calculated every pay period?

Usually not. In most instances the creditor serves what is called a continuing wage garnishment which is served only one time and requires the form to be filled out only once.

If your wages change from period to period the form may need to be recalculated each pay period, otherwise one continuing garnishment form is all that is needed.
