Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah

What is the statute of limitations on debt collection?

I was wondering what the statute of limitations for debt collection in Utah is. I have received a summons for a credit card debt that is at least 7 to 8 years old. Also, what exactly am I supposed to do now? It tells me to call the clerks office within 10 days after being served, and in another place it tells me to wait 13. I am confused. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks tons!!!

10 years. If you do not respond the creditor will take judgment against you, and can then garnish your wages and assets.
