Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah
Can I sue a collection agency and a medical office for saying that I owe them money when I have the canceled checks to prove that it has been payed in full. They also turned this false information over to a credit reporting agency.

You can sue for false credit reporting. You can demand in your suit that they correct the problem with the credit bureaus and compensate you for any damages you have sustained (denial of credit, higher interest rates etc.)
You can also contact the credit bureaus and dispute the report and demand that they investigate.
