Can a Summons for a Small Claims case regarding a payday loan collection be served upon the receptionist at my place of work in Utah?

It depends on who the defendant is. If you're being sued individually, they need to serve you personally if it's being done at your place of employment. If your business is being sued, they can leave the Summons and Complaint with the receptionist.
