can utah unemployment funds be garnished for a collection garnishment. i was told the only way they could be garnished is for child support or irs back taxes not for a debit owed to a business like rc willy

Yes they can be garnished. However, there are limits on what can be taken. You need to respond to the notice of garnishment and request a hearing with the court.
