Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Utah
Me and my wife got married one year ago, and we filed our taxes together for the year 2009 after filing. I began to receive Medical bills and others..Of hers on my name from when she was single. my question is: If this debt of hers was conceived when she was single why would i have to pay for them now ? Is this normal and is there anything i could do ??or should do?

You are not obligated on her medicaid debts. However, if you file jointly and Medicaid obtains judgment against her for her debts, they may be able to garnish your income tax return.
