Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I am 20, and got an underage drinking ticket a month ago. I went into court earlier this week and plead guilty, thinking I could just pay the fee and it would all be over with. I didnt realize how strict Utah's consequences are for under age drinking. I have a baby and cannot afford to have my drivers license suspended. I need to know if there is anything i can do at this point, or if it is just too late. I told the Judge i did not want a lawyer or attorney (I didnt think i needed one). Is there anything i can do before my sentence?

There is a way to withdraw your guilty plea which must be done within 30 days of entering the plea. If you withdraw your guilty plea, then you are back to the pre-trial stage but there is still a chance a better deal could be worked out than the possible one you had.
