under 18yrs. of age are convictions carried over to your adult record?

unless the juvenile is prosecuted as an adult, normally a juvenile record is not available to the public. However, certain offenses will cause even a juvenile to be listed on a sexual offender list. For good cause, the State can get the juvenile record. Once eligible, I suggest that the juvenile record be expunged.
