Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
a attorney used for a deferent purpose
Can a prosecuting attorney give advice maybe file for and represent a client about a matter outside of the affair he was used for in another case? Isn't he a paid servant of the county and used for county matters only and not for personal use?

Re: a attorney used for a deferent purpose
Different Counties have different requirements. Some have part time attorneys that work part time for the County and have a practice outside of their county work. They are not supposed to represent an individual in a matter against the county, or handle criminal matters.
