Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
I was charged with electronic harassment. After a stormy relationship, my girlfriend told me to never contact her again. I did not for 6 months--then I sent her an email of apology. She pressed charges, and I was wondering if I should hire a lawyer or just accept it.

If you're being charged for sending a letter of apology, then that doesn't sound like harassment. It would be good to sit down and talk to an attorney before putting something on your record permanently for something you're not guilty of. Feel free to give me a call if you want to go over your case.
